Andrew Michaud is the General Manager and Chief Commercial Officer at DermRay, where he brings nearly 20 years of commercial leadership experience in the medical device industry. With a proven track record in sales and marketing, Andrew has helped launch and scale innovative technologies across companies of all sizes—from nimble startups to global Fortune 500 organizations.

Throughout his career, Andrew has consistently driven market adoption of cutting-edge healthcare solutions. He has held key leadership roles at organizations such as BioProtect Ltd., where he served as Marketing Director, leading go-to-market strategies for radiation oncology products. Prior to that, Andrew was the Principal Global Product Manager at Boston Scientific, where he spearheaded marketing for the Prostate Health franchise. Throughout his career, he has built and managed high-performing sales and marketing teams, demonstrating a deep understanding of both early-stage commercialization and large-scale growth execution.

At DermRay, Andrew leads the expansion of the company’s image-guided superficial radiation therapy platform, helping dermatologists deliver advanced, non-invasive skin cancer treatment within their own practices. Andrew’s deep expertise in medical device commercialization, combined with his passion for building strong clinical partnerships, positions him as a driving force in DermRay’s mission to transform skin cancer care.

Brett Shoemake is a seasoned medical sales executive with over 15 years of experience driving business growth, building strategic partnerships, and leading high-performance sales teams across the healthcare and medical device industries. Currently serving as the Director of Sales at DermRay. Brett brings a deep understanding of clinical environments and a proven ability to deliver innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes and enhance provider efficiency.

Throughout his career, Brett has held key roles at organizations such as Abbvie, Pulse Biosciences, and Suneva consistently exceeding revenue targets and expanding market presence. He is known for his consultative approach, deep product knowledge, and passion for delivering real value to clients. His expertise spans aesthetic, surgical, and dermatological technologies, with a strong emphasis on educating and empowering physicians to adopt advanced medical solutions.

Brett’s professional reputation is built on integrity, adaptability, and results. He thrives in fast-paced, evolving markets and is committed to staying at the forefront of industry innovation. Outside of work, Brett enjoys mentoring emerging sales professionals and staying active through travel and fitness.

California Radiation Therapy Manager

Sairene Patterson is a certified Radiation Therapist with nearly two decades of clinical experience in medical imaging and therapeutic radiologic procedures. She earned her Certificate in Radiation Therapy from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California in 2005, where she developed a strong foundation in delivering precise and compassionate care to oncology patients. Prior to that, she completed a Certificate in Diagnostic Radiology and Fluoroscopy from Fresno City College in 2004, equipping her with extensive knowledge in diagnostic imaging techniques and fluoroscopic procedures.

Throughout her career, Sairene has demonstrated a commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her dual background in both diagnostic and therapeutic radiology enables her to approach patient care with a comprehensive perspective, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and treatment precision. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, contributing to radiation oncology teams with her technical expertise, procedural knowledge, and patient-focused care.

Known for her meticulous attention to detail and empathetic approach, Sairene continues to stay current with industry best practices and regulatory standards. She is passionate about advancing radiation therapy practices and fostering high-quality outcomes for patients undergoing treatment.
